In March 2022, the City of Winston-Salem contracted with Homebase the Center for Common Concerns, a nationally recognized expert on homeless and affordable housing and a skilled technical assistance provider, to provide consulting services to the Continuum of Care.

The Homebase staff met with local service providers, community members, and housing advocates including those with lived experience to conduct focus groups to learn more about how well the CoC and each program operates.
